We will be studying how communication is an important part of your success not only in getting the job, but in succeeding at it. Each week, there will be an assignment related to the textbook reading and lecture. Read the postings by your classmates as well as posting your own response.
Between now and 5 p.m. Friday, January 16, enter a comment on this post. Your comment can be as simple as "hello everyone" or as detailed as you wish. See the instructions on the right side of the screen if you are new to blogging. For this week only, you will receive five points for participation. The goal is to be sure you are registered and able to participate on this blog before the formal blogging assignments begin in Week 3 (January 19 through January 23). Once the formal assignments begin, you will be able to earn up to 10 points depending on the quality of your response. Feel free to scroll down and click on "archives" to see what other students in previous classes have written.

Hello everyone. For those of you who do not know me, my name is Joel. I live in Fall Creek, WI and I am the CVO of a new company called Creative Farming Studios.
Hello.............and here we go
So far so good. Joel, what does CVO stand for exactly?
Hello. This is my first time blogging and I am very excited.
Hello all I'm Liz and I have lived in a few different states, different jobs and now finally going to school for Massage Therapy which is something I enjoy doing.
Hello everyone. Are you all having fun with the eye contact assignment?
Hello Everyone! My name is Amanda in case you don't know. This is my first time blogging and I am very excited about it! :-)
Hello! First time blogger here and it gets a little confusing between Business Writing and Business Communications!
Hi. I'm Theresa and I'm from Eau Claire. Jamie, I know what you mean. I'm in both classes too, so it's going to be interesting keeping things straight. Good luck to both of us, I guess.
Hi. My name is Keri Bradford. I posted a longer blog on Erica's writing page so I'll keep it short here. My son and I both go to Globe and we both graduated (17 years apart) from North High here in Eau Claire. I also have two other children: Jake is 20 and Jenna is 10. Blogging seems fun, I'm looking forward to it.
janet kriese said...At the age of 62, I am in the process of completing a lifetime goal of returning to college; hopefully for an AAS degree. Meanwhile, the level of support and encouragement from the Globe staff, is key to the learning process. Heartfelt thanks to all of you for making this a campus, of learning and fun!!!
Hello everyone,
My name is Cassie. I am originally from Eau Claire, but have lived in various places in Wisconsin. I currently live south of Thorp, and it’s a long drive to the middle of nowhere. This is my second quarter at Globe. I am attending school to become a Medical Assistant. I would like to further my education in the future. I currently have two cats, three dogs and seven horses. I ride, train and show horses. I have a few horses coming in for training this spring, so it should be a busy year. In the near future, I hope to move someplace where it doesn’t get below zero in the winter.
Hello everyone! I hope I am doing this right. I am interested in the blogging once I understand it.
Hello fellow bloggers! Blogging is fun! I would suggest posting your blog early in the week, otherwise you might forget! For Interspersonal Relations class I ended up forgetting then when Friday afternoon came along I was quickly trying to have it posted in time.
Hello everyone. I thought I would check to see if I could do this again. See you on Wednesday.
Hi everyone. Sorry I'm late. I truly hope I have a much easier time with this thing the rest of this quarter.
Hey Everyone this is Cody Haas for those of you who don't know i live in Brackett which is 7 miles south of where globe is located. I got a really late start to this blogging but decided it was still important to post so everyone can get a little bit beter idea of who i am. This is also my first time blogging and am excited to give my imput.
Well I blogged on the wrong thing. Now that I think I know what I'm doing, I can get to work.
